Honeywells Seelze facility is certified for the automotive industry standard, ISO/TS 16949
In addition to having ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environmental) certification, Honeywells Seelze plant is ISO/TS 1694 certified. This is the stringent certification for suppliers to the automotive industry. Although we do not provide products directly to the automotive industry, our customers do. So we took the challenge to also reach this highly regarded certification.
Achieving multi-certification status is very much in line with Honeywells Six Sigma Plus culture and the new Honeywell Operating System. All site processes were examined to achieve this tough automotive industry standard for quality and reliability. Improvements were identified and put into practice. The project examined our operations, analytics, technology, maintenance, supply chain processes and production procedures.
All departments and functions were audited and Honeywell Specialty Chemicals Seelze received its certificate for compliance with ISO/TS 16949. The Seelze site is one of the very few within Honeywell Specialty Materials to be ISO/TS 16949 certified.
This certification is a great accomplishment for the site and further reflection of our commitment to customer excellence and process improvement. |
